Mermaid Rachel is a professional mermaid and with over 15 years of performance experience and the owner of Aquanauts Freediving LLC. As a divemaster, freediving instructor, and mermaid instructor, she can dive to 147 feet deep on one breath and has a breath hold of over 5 minutes! Giving people the tools to safely explore our oceans on one breath is her passion, and she teaches others how to safely improve their freediving and mermaiding skills. Mermaid Rachel has held numerous titles including Miss Mermaid Nevada 2021 and 2022, top 10 finalist at the Miss Oregon competition, and Fire Entertainer of the Year 2016. Mermaid Rachel is passionate about ocean conservation and coral reef rehabilitation. She has worked to organize beach cleanups and coral reef restoration projects with local stakeholders in unique diving destinations around the world.
